3 Steps to participate in the first JAZA 6Dof Photo Contest:

The participation rules of the Contest are simple, just 3 steps and get the chance to win:

1. Shoot 360° 3D photos with Obsidian 3D VR camera and stitch them in Kandao Studio with depth mode (Please select 2D format and export depth map).

2. Tag #JAZA and share your photo in the “top and bottom” format (as shown below) in Facebook group “KanDao Obsidian”.

3. Please send the 360° depth map + 360° images in full resolution to marketing@kandaovr.com before 31st May 2018. The following information should also be included: “The first JAZA 6Dof Photo Contest” in the email subject and photo title & authors credits in the text.

Judging

Your 360° 3D photo submission will then be judged on originality, composition, artistic merit and immersive experience in 6DoF Viewer. The judge panel including VR experts Nancy Eperjesy from Mettle, Chris Bobotis from Adobe, Alexandre Regeffe from Neotopy, Josh Gladstone from Pseudoscience Pictures and Dan Chen from Kandao will evaluate all valid entries and select THREE to win the prizes of Obsidian Professional Accessories Package, and the result will be announced in Kandao’s Facebook page soon after closing.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SUBMISSION

The contest is open to all Kandao users and each can submit unlimited amount of entries in the contest.
Only photos and depth maps in 360° 3D format will be accepted. All other formats will be excluded.
All entries must be submitted to marketing@kandaovr.com accompanied by the 360° image + depth map in full resolution as well as the photo title and authors credits.
The first JAZA 6Dof Photo Contest shall begin on March 15th, 2018, and end on May 31st, 2018. All entries shall be submitted during this period, or it will not be included in the contest.
The winner of the first JAZA 6Dof Photo Contest will be determined solely by our judge panel. The judges will select THREE winning entries from all the submission based on the originality, composition, artistic merit and immersive experience in 6DoF Viewer.
The prizes for winners will be:

Facebook will be the official social media platform for the contest.
All 360° 3D photos and depth maps submitted as part of the entry for the first JAZA 6Dof Photo Contest may be reproduced, displayed, and exploited as Kandao sees fit, including but not limited to posting entries, in whole or in part, on the Kandao website and social media platforms. Kandao shall continue to enjoy the same rights as listed above when the contest ends except as otherwise authentically notified by the creator/creators of the corresponding material. All other intellectual property rights shall remain with the creators or owners of the 360º 3D photos and depth maps.
By entering the first JAZA 6Dof Photo Contest, the participants hereby offer a guarantee that:
The 360º 3D photos and depth maps submitted are the original work of their authors and/or they are free to use all of the ideas, images or other elements therein and are the rightful owners of all rights of the entry submitted.
Kandao shall not be liable for any damages, losses, costs, complaints and the like that the participants might incur or sustain as a result of submitting their proposals.
The participants have the legal capacity and competence to take part in the present contest and that their participation does not violate any rights of third parties. Kandao shall not be liable for any content in the submitted footage.
