(1) Lens Calibration/Reset Calibration
Kandao Studio will read the calibration parameters of the lens by default when importing. This function can reprocess the calibration parameters of the selected material.
Lens calibration:
Lens calibration can correct 6 lens images and optimize the stitching problem caused by the error of lens parameters. Normally, calibration can improve the abnormal problems such as black blocks, ghosting, and misalignment in the picture. When calibrating, please avoid using frames where the lens is blocked by a large area. Special scenes can be calibrated through repeated calibration. Even if the stitching parameters are adjusted, the calibration result will not be affected. After calibrating the source material, there is no need to calibrate again.
Reset calibration:
Read the calibration parameters in the material. In some scenarios, the built-in calibration parameters of the material will be more suitable than the parameters after using the “Lens Calibration”. In this case, using the built-in calibration parameters can make the picture quality of the material more realistic.
(2) Mode
Support Mono (2D) and Stereo (3D) Modes.
(3) Chromatic Aberration Removal Frequency
Obsidian has 6 lenses. The exposure and color of each lens may be different. The result of stitching will have areas of color dissonance. In this situation, chromatic aberration needs to be eliminated.
Normal: 30 frames/time, suitable for scenes where the camera is stable and the lights are steady
Fast: 10 frames/time, suitable for scenes with varying light.
Frame by frame: 1 frame/time, suitable for scenes where the light changes faster or the camera is moving.
(4) Process
Image Reversal: flip the screen with 180°.
Gravity Calibration: horizontal calibration of the image (only for images)
IMU-Based Stabilization: Use IMU information and internal image stabilization algorithms to solve the shake effect and obtain a stable picture. (Note: Starting from the 205 firmware, after using the IMU calibration in Tools, then click the IMU-Based Stabilization, which can exert the greatest effect of stabilization)
Zenith Optimization: Use optical flow algorithm to optimize the top quality, it is recommended to use.
(5) Color Grading
Supports basic color adjustments for videos and pictures, and can use custom LUTs for stylized editing.
(6) Define the Time Duration
By dragging the progress bar on the bottom, you can define the time duration of the video to be exported. The shortest support export is 1 second.
