IMU Calibration

Starting with the firmware V207, you need to do an IMU calibration before stitching. Your Obsidian only needs to be calibrated once on the same computer, and there is no need to calibrate again when next using. The IMU calibrated footage can solve the zero-drift phenomenon when the camera is still.


Process:

Step 1: Fixed position to shoot 10s still video

Step 2: Import Kandao Studio V3 and select this video

Step 3: Click “IMU Calibration” in “Tools”

Step 4: Wait for completion. (Then you can delete this 10s video)
