Using the QooCam App, you can control the QooCam 3 Ultra for shooting, recording, file transfer, and media processing.
Connection Steps:
1. Power on the QooCam 3 Ultra camera.
2. Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your mobile device.
3. Open the QooCam 3 App, tap the , and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera.
Camera Hotspot (AP) Mode:
When the camera's WLAN (Station) mode is not enabled and it is not connected to the same local network as your phone, the QooCam 3 App will default to connecting to the camera via the camera's created hotspot.
Camera WLAN (Station) Mode:
The camera and phone connect to the same WLAN network, establishing communication between the QooCam 3 App and the camera. This mode allows you to extend the connection range by using other WLAN networks or Ethernet. This mode also supports connecting the camera to the personal hotspot created by your phone, forming a local network for the QooCam 3 App and camera connection.
Note:
When the Camera's Hotspot (AP) Mode Fails to Connect to the QooCam 3 App, Please Follow These Steps:
1. Ensure that WLAN and Bluetooth functions are enabled on your mobile device.
2. Ensure that the QooCam 3 App is updated to the latest version.
3. Ensure that the QooCam 3 Ultra firmware is updated to the latest version.
4. For Android devices, make sure the QooCam 3 App has the following permissions enabled:
a. Bluetooth Permission: Required to obtain the device information of the QooCam 3 Ultra and establish a wireless connection.
b. WLAN Permission: Required to establish a WLAN connection between the Android device and the QooCam 3 Ultra.
c. Location Permission: Required to ensure the Android device can detect nearby QooCam 3 Ultra cameras.
5. For iOS devices, make sure the QooCam 3 App has the following permissions enabled:
a. Bluetooth Permission: Required to obtain the device information of the QooCam 3 Ultra and establish a wireless connection.
b. Wi-Fi Permission: Required to establish a Wi-Fi connection between the iOS device and the QooCam 3 Ultra.
c. Local Network Permission: Required to ensure the device and QooCam 3 Ultra are communicating on the same network.
d. Location Permission: Required to ensure the iOS device can detect nearby QooCam 3 Ultra cameras.
When the Camera's WLAN (Station) Fails to Connect to the QooCam 3 App, Please Follow These Steps:
1. Ensure that the mobile device and the camera are connected to the same local network.
2. Ensure that the QooCam 3 App is updated to the latest version.
3. Ensure that the QooCam 3 Ultra firmware is updated to the latest version.
